Activity: Recording your interview on Lingt Language

1. Read the general directions before  recording:

Ta vedette préférée

Take a few moments to think of your favorite celebrity- chanteur/chanteuse, acteur/actrice, athlète.  You will need to be able to describe this celebrity in French

I am interviewing you for the Jeunes Francophones group and want to know some information about your favorite  star (ta vedette préférée).  Please respond to the following questions. Be sure to answer in complete sentences!

2. Click on Ma Vedette Préférée  to beging recording. Remember you must give permission to allow access to your microphone.

3. First, you will listen by clicking on the blue bubble. To record, click on the grey bubble once to begin recording and then a second time when you are finished recording.

4.  When you are ready to submit your assignment, type in your first and last name and class period. You do not have to put in an email.

Search for your car

1. First, go to http://www.linternaute.com/video/automobile/1/ and start looking at cars. Be sure to note the model numbers of the cars you like so that you can search for them on Ebay France.
2. Go to Ebay France http://automobile-voiture.ebay.fr/?_trksid=p3907.m21  and start your search.

Vocabulary

1. There will be unfamiliar vocabulary. Remember, Madame is not the dictionary! I’m not giving you a fish, but teaching you to fish… go to Word Reference  http://www.wordreference.com/fren/   to look up any unfamiliar words. You will be listing unfamiliar words in the chart below. You may NOT use online translators. The use of these will cause you to fail this assignment.

1. To find the price conversion, to to http://www.xe.com/  Remember that the French use periods were we use commas and vice versa!
2.  After   comparing your two cars,  create a paragraph using  Partie B. Copy and paste this paragraph to Wallwisher  . REMEMBER TO POST YOUR FIRST NAME AND LAST INITIAL ONLY.  BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR CLASS PERIOD
