Classzone: This website refreshed my vocabulary..

BBC: The Bite Size website was really fun and it taught me a lot of stuff.

quizlet: The quizzes were kind of easy.. I felt like I already knew the stuff.

http://www.languagesonline.org.uk/- this website helped out a lot & the matching was fun

http://quizlet.com/subject/french/ this website helps out with vocabulary but the games are sort of boring

What I need to work on…

1. Time: I confuse anytime with 30 minutes with time with 50 minutes and so on.
2. Need to be refreshed on the different verbs: Sometimes I mix these up.
3. Rooms: I’ll confuse la sale de bain with la cuisine or so.
4. Shopping (price, where to, names of different shop stories [1st story, 2nd story…], etc.): I forgot the name of the ground level, and mix it up with the first level which I mix up with the second level, and so on.
5. Hearing: I can’t process words to respond if I hear people speaking the language because I take time to come up and find key words to pull the sentence together to make it fit and then take time to find a correct answer, trying to avoid anything random or insulting, and by then the conversation is already awkward. I have MOST trouble with this.
6. Body parts: Just plain forgot -.-

Didn't get to much sites, but the ones I did were nice (first 2, forgot).

http://www.languagesonline.org.uk/- This was one of my favorite websites. The game Speed Word 2 was especially helpful. On speed word you had to quickly fill in the French translation of an English word before the timer ran out. At the end of the game it shows you your response and what it should have been. I rate this website a 08!
http://www.quia.com/shared/french/- On this website Rags to Riches was a game that brought out the competitive side of me. It helped me with conjugation.I really enjoy this game do I rate it a 07!
http://quizlet.com/- On this website I used more of the Study tools. There were flashcards to review things we’ve gone over previously. This gave me much needed review so I give it an 08!
http://www.eduweb.vic.gov.au/languagesonline/french/french.htm- On this website there were specific things for you to work with. You could pick exactly what you wanted to work on. I am going to rate this 07!

QUIZLET.COM
I LOOKED AT VERBS SUCH AS AVIOR AND ETRE AND THIS WEBSITE IS A 9 BECAUSE IT HELPS FOR REVIEWING AND IT AIDS ME IN STUDYING BECAUSE OF THE FLASH CARDS.
LANGUAGESONLINE.ORG
HERE I STUDIED PLACES THAT YOU GO IN AN AREA AND THIS WEBSITE IS A 10 BECAUSE IT EFFECTIVELY HELPS ME ASSES HOW WELL I KNOW A SUBJECT
BBC.COM
HERE I LOOKED AT VOCABULARY FROM AMNY SUBJECTS AND THIS WEBSITE IS A 10 BEAUSE IT IS A GREAT REVIEW OF WHAT WEVE DONE FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR
EDUWEB.VIC.GOV
HERE I STUDIED SCHOOL ITEMS ANND HOW MUCH THEY COST IN THE FORM OF A GAME AND THIS WEBSITE IS A 7 BECAUSE IT IS HARD TO UNDERSTAND SOME OF THE GAMES BUT IF I COULD IM SURE THEY WOULD BE EDUCATIONAL
CLASSZONE.COM
I LOOKED AT THE FLASHCARDS FOR UNIT 4 THIS WEBSITE IS A 10 BECAUSE IT IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE WEBSITE OUT OF ALL THE OTHERS AND I LEARN THE MOST ON THIS SITE
THE MOST HELPFUL BY FAR WAS CLASSZONE

Languages online Français wasn’t really interesting, and it didn’t help me much.
Quizlet is fun and helpful because it while I was playing the games, I was studying at the same time. Also, while I was playing the space races, I noticed that as it got faster and faster, I was able to think faster too.
Languages online French topic was helpful because it contained many of the topics we learned in class, and it helped me review.
Quia was fun and helpful because it had different activities to help review the different subjects and categories.

I found the website Class zone the most helpful because it gave me a good review.

http://www.eduweb.vic.gov.au/languagesonline/french/french.htm
I would give a 10- The games are fun, easy, and give you simple answers to choose from. There are also great graphics, which add to the fun. It also allows a simple way to learn clothing and the colors of the clothes.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/french
I would give a 9- Although there are no games, there is a variety of activities to do to improve any area in your French. The activities are easy to follow and well planned. They are just activities, but are surprisingly fun once you get into them.

These two websites were the most effective for me.

Dates and time - http://www.quia.com/shared/search - I don’t really understand how to tell time and dates that well, and I should work on that.

Numbers from 70 and up - http://www.quia.com/jfc/1683041.html - I should study more on that.

The most useful site that I went to is http://www.quia.com/shared/search they have some games where it can help me understand my vocabulary in some subjects

I thought today was pretty helpful. First I used Languages Online, which I thought was the most helpful, especially with time. Then I tried Quizlet and found that boring. Lastly I tried Quia, and I especially liked the fact that Quia has a variety of activities.

i know I can’t really count very well, nor get the dates right, I can’t spell, verbs, and making sentences from the top of my head.
but The sites that were the most helpful was bitesize and Languages online because they gave me everything with visual examples so that I could have fun and relate to it while working.

They all were good! Quia helped me a lot tho. It was the most helpful by having over 4000 different activites for French. The bbc online website was god too. But overall they were all really great for helping me with French.

I thought that the language online helped me
because it was interactive and had games and it really helped me alot.

I learned alot more in quizlet with the flashcards

http://www.quia.com/shared/french/
This was my favorite website. The battleship game was is the best thing about it. It is cool and entertaining and is a very good way to show what you know is specific categories and review what you have forgotten quickly.

Diane Squire

Weather
http://www.eduweb.vic.gov.au/languagesonline/french/french.htm I did Quel temps fait-il?, but once I tried an answer t didn’t correct me. I also did Le temps, The sound and animation were very cool and funny. This is an easy way to remember the weather vocabulary.

Food and Drink

http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/french/quickfix/foodanddrink.shtml I did the listening part, it was much like quizlet, which would be a good place to review but, nothing (animation, picture) to help you memorize the vocabulary. http://www.eduweb.vic.gov.au/languagesonline/french/french.htm was a great site with a matching game (with pictures and sound).

Classroom Objects

http://www.quia.com, had good review games with variety (I did flash cards-quick review, matching puzzle-with pictures, and the concentration game- to test what I really did remember).

Families

http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/schools/gcsebitesize/french , had a test practice where they read a paragraph of a girl’s family and 8 questions to answer. This really let me practice my listening/recognizing abilities, and helped me remember the vocabulary on families.

Months of the Year

http://www.languagesonline.org.uk/ had good games to test/review my vocabulary and to help me remember little things It is not a good place to go if you don’t remember anything. There was no sound, but the matching an word puzzles allowed me to review my vocabulary in different ways.

Out of all the websites my favorite was http://www.eduweb.vic.gov.au/languagesonline/french/french.htm because it has great sound, cool animations, and something unique that I can think of when trying to remember the French vocabulary. It was also good to test my listening, reading, and writing skills.

Final Exam Evaluation

Quelle direction?
http://www.languagesonline.org.uk/

This activity received the evaluation score of 9 because although I didn’t know how to say the different cardinal directions, this activity helped me learn them by knowing how to read and understand French, also by using my contact clues.

French Numbers
http://www.quia.com/cc/66096.html

This activity received the evaluation score of 8 because since the beginning of the school year, numbers have always been my weakness, with this activity I score thirty out of thirty which means throughout the year my skill of knowing numbers have excelled and im proud of that, this activity not only helped me with my skills of know numbers but also helped me with concentration and memorization.

Classzone
Discovering French Nouveau (Bleu) Unité 6 Leçon 17
http://www.classzone.com/cz/books/french_1/quiz.htm

This activity received the evaluation score of seven because I feel before testing, the activity should have some type of review to refresh the testers thoughts, although you could review somewhere else throughout the webpage, I believe it should be an all in one thing as for the learning part, classzone has always helped me succeed in my French education.

BBC- Reviewing for an exam
http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/french/examskills/1listeningexamrev2.shtml

This activity received the high score of 10 because it was the most helpful in helping me well giving me tips on how to make my test taking skills better especially for the listening part of our French test, this activity was the most useful to me because it taught me something I’ve never been taught.

http://www.quia.com/rr/42568.html This was our favorite website. It was fun and entertaining.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/french/listeningh/h01_list_routine_rev1.shtml This was our least favorite website. It was kind of confusing.
http://www.languagesonline.org.uk This one was great. There were lots of activities.
http://www.eduweb.vic.gov.au/languagesonline/french/french.htm I didn’t get to do much with this but it ok.

Quia was interesting and it had aqlot of entertaining stuff to do

BBC is my least favourite because it was difficult and confusing

Languages online was ok it had lots of tips to help with learning

class zone was cool i did the unite 6 lecon 17 test and it was ok

i really liked the activities. they helped me refresh my memory about all the skills weve learned and will need to recall for the final exam. i especially liked the rags to riches games because they stay in your mind as you rep[eat them over and over. i also liked the scatter matching game because it gives you an opportunity to drill the subjects in your mind and motovate you to beat your time.i really liked the review activities today!

Ma france was the big help i understood most of it but it really helped when i was able to see the french and english subtitle while i was watching the video.

i liked that i was able to go back to the begining of the year from the start so i can regnize how much i really know it was like a review and i enjoyed it alot it was very refreashing

Very helpful.

I love the games on languageonline , I liked the word ordering and the crosswords game and vocabulary. I give it a 10. I give classzone a 7 because it wasn’t that fun the vocabulary was helpful though. Quizlets flashcards were helpful as well. Quia jeopardy game was fun also.

Quia was the most fun because the games were easy and to the point of it all. Languages online was also fun but I didn't get everything I thought I could. All and all it was fun for me. Everything went better than expected.

Classzone: 9/10 I reviewed a lot of important vocabulary on this website

Quizlet: 7.5/10 I didn’t like this that much and there was less vocabulary

Quia: 8.5/10 I did enjoy this website because of its various games and options to choose from

BBC: 9.5/10 This website was my favorite because it had many videos quizzes and interesting things about French that was only on this website.

Quizlet

The quizlet site has always been a favorite of mind because of the flashcard activities and how they always pretain to the unit or lesson (9/10)

Languages Online

Languages online was very helpful and very thorough. It included all lessons pretaining our book, and has the potential of becoming one of my favorite websetes. (9/10)

BBC Websites

All of the BBC websites did not really appeal to me as much as the other websites did because it really didn't pretain to the lessons we learn as directly as I would like. (5/10)

Bonjour madam Henderson I went to the quizlet section in French type pad and went over some the food list in French such as meat ( le viande), ham ( le jambon), and chicken (le poulet) etc. In this section I like how if you couldn’t pronounce the word correctly it helps you out by saying the word it own self.

Quia
I give Quia a 7, I love how you can explore and try out different games for different subjects. The only thing is, I don’t really like the graphics, but that’s my personal opinion.

Languages Online- Français
I give it a 4, the site’s not very interesting and the layout is kinda boring. Plus it was kind of hard to navigate and try out the games.
BBC French
This website gets a 6, its clean, the layout and graphics are nice, but I can’t really guess what they’re saying for the crossword puzzle hints.

Malhorie Del Rosairo 3rd Period
I need to work on times, money and food. oh an a little bit of days and moths, i just need help with spelling. The activities o quia.com are really helpfull i just have to study more than usual.

I thought that the games were very fun but the rags to riches was very challenging

i think the quia website was very helpful and so was quizlit although they only hve a few games

The quia website helped the most, because it had so many different categories and games for those categories. Quizlet helped as well.
