1. Go to Mon JT Quotidien and select TWO articles to listen to.

2. You will  summarize each article in English using the following format and post as a comment to today's post.

Your general opinion of the article. Give an overall opinion and rate it on a 1-10 scale.

1. Learn about the history of the Garnier Opera House .  List 3 things you learned about the history.
2. Take a virtual visit of the opera house. List three adjectives in French that you would use to describe the opera house.
3. Fill out the Coupe de l’Opéra worksheet using the Plan de l’Opera
4. In the Grand Foyer, there are statues of the Muses. Fill out the worksheet by writing the role of the Muses. Which one is missing?  
5. Fill out the Plan de Salle and put a star next to where you would like to sit.

 

Post activity

Go to Wallwisher and complete a sticky with a description of the Opéra in French and your your place préféfée. Use your French name on your sticky.

1. Accommodations task- Accommodations page

- List the names and addresses of your hotels in your intinerary.

- Find the hotel in Google street view and  enbed photos into your wiki

 Go to Google Maps France and type in the address for your hotel.

Select the street view and embed the picture into your wikipage. You will use the Embed Widget icon to do this.

 Copy the rest of your hotel email and add any other pictures.

2.   Flight Information -   Find a flight from Houston to France (as close to your region as you can). Copy and paste this information to your preparatifs page

Tâche 9- Budget and reflection 

In this final task, you will complete your budget sheet and give your final reflection. You will need to convert the final total to American dollars. You will  name this Budget, sites,  pensées, and place on your budget page.

·        Download the form from the Budget Spreadsheet page

·        Calculate your expenses including food and outings

·        Use  the conversion site to calculate the final price in American dollars

·        Write your reflection- two stars and a wish…what two things went well? What do you wish you had done differently?
