He was from a small village in nomandie. He is years old.

The most useful activity today was when we did the imperfect activity and there were word we had to move around and gave us a percentage of how good we did. That was very helpful.

Xavier grew up in a small village in Normandy. He grew up living in a house called a chaumière. It is a style of house unique to the type of house unique to the region of France he lived in. The village he lived in was in a small valley by a small river. He use to walk on country roads near his new house. He use to go pedaling through the forest on his bicycle. His father took him to school which was 7 kilometers away and returned home for lunch. He ate food made by his mom. His mom dropped him off to school while she went to work. His room was close to a staircase that led to a balcony. He had a hut he use to go to that was like a small house. He use to play on a seesaw which was extremely fun. He lived there for many years and kept many souvenirs.

1. Chemins: country road
2. Pèdaler: to pedal
3. Balcon: Balcony
4. Escalier: staircase
5. Cabane: hut
The Languages online activity that helped the most was the matching because it helped me understand which ending went with each form of a verb.

His village was situated in a small valley where he had to go through a lot of forests.
He went to a school seven kilometers away.He often ate at his own and his aunt's house.

It's about his childhood in a small village in Normandie in a typical house of the region. His village was near a small river that was 18 kilometers long. His school was eight kilometers away from his house and he rode his bike there.

evaluation It was alright the typing bit was a bit difficult though.

Paragraph #1:
When he was young he lived in a small village called Normandie, on the border of Seine-Martine. He lived in a cottage; the skeleton was wood, which was typical for his region.

Paragraph #2
His village was in a small valley, and a river 18 kilometers long poured into it. He used to walk along the country road with a hill. He used to take his motorbike and ride through it.

Paragraph #3
His School was 7 miles from where his dad worked. He’s have lunch at his house, He’s eat what was prepared by his mom. When he went to college he would eat at his aunt’s house and she lived with his uncle and cousin

Paragraph #4
His room had a balcony and a spiral staircase He would come down the stairs to go to the garden. He played in the trees and also in the shed. It was a small house, HE also used to swing which was fun.

Languages online was hard!!!! The least useful ones were the matching because u just looked at the ending. The most useful were the ones that you had to fill in the words and figure it out. It was difficult but helped.

La enfance de Xavier
He used to live in the country side on the border of l’eure and seine martime, in a wooden house which was common in his village. His village was located by a valley and river. It was occupied by a vast crowd of people. He went to school 7 km away and his dad used to take him, who worked on the other side. It was easy for him to come and have lunch at home. When he was alone he would have a taste of all of the good dishes that my mother had prepared. Whenever I was in college I went to my aunts house who lived with my uncle and cousins whioch were 10m away from school. My room was on the top floor with a balcony and stairs.
Dizaines-ten
Nombreux-vast crowd.

The games were fun but the summary of xaviers bio was quite difficult.

Xavier is from a small village Normandy. The valley is 18 kilometers from La Seine; his school is 7 kilometers from his dad. He and his cousin rode the metro.

The most useful activity was the matching on the Language Online it helped me understand what goes with what.

Iyonawan Norman - 6th Period

Xavier describes his childhood in the small countryside village of Normandy, France. The village was along a small river, the Seine that is 18 kilometers long. His school was 7 kilometers from where his father lived, and he grew up in a small house.

My favorite of the activities on Langages Online was the matching but I wasn't too fond of the fill in the blank.

The Languages online activity that helped the most was the matching because it helped me understand which ending went with each form of a verb.

I only did the first link but it helped me by telling me exactly what goes with the correct subject.

1. ossature - skeleton
2. pédaler – to pedal
3. essayais – to try
4. chemins – country road
5. balançoire - swing
he spoke about where he use to live and where he grew up.

Xavier describes that he was born and lived in a village called Normandie near a river and going to school and college and some family members.

I liked the little quizes for the imperfect.

The languages online pages were ok. This explanation page was very helpful in breaking it down and on the activities it was nice that it corrected what you did wrong. Some of the activities were repetitive which is good for memory. I didn’t like some of the fill in the blank ones.

Xavier’s childhood:
He lived in the countryside in a small village in Normandy
I least like board games and i like the being with my friends and family the most.

L’enfance de Xavier Summary
When Xavier was little he was born on a little village in Normandy. He lives in a house next to the ocean. And this style of house is typical around his area. He lives eighteen kilometers from Siene.

I liked the whole thing in general but didn’t like the rate it went like for example the sentence were fast.

L’Imparfait:
• 5, it was helpful to me because it reassured me that I knew how to do it.
L’Imparfait (2)
• 5, I liked this activity because it showed me how to make the sentences flow.

L’Imparfait (3)
• 8, this activity was good for me because it mixed up the words and gave me time to think.

L’Imparfait (4)
• 10, it was a little difficult but this activity gave me time to think about it before checking it.

L’Imparfait (5)
• 8, this activity was very hard, it took me awhile to figure it out I need to work on the verbs in past tense.

L’Imparfait (6)
• 9, this activity was hard also but it I got it after it took me awhile to solve it.

L’Imparfait (7)
• 9, this activity was sorta easy but it helped me put the sentence together.

L’Imparfait (8)
• 9, this was kinda hard but it was fun and made me think about the questions.

1) It helps me with it good so that if I mess up, I can have another chance to try and give it another chance.
2) This activity is very hard, but it actually helps me if I make a mistake at anytime.
3) It’s a little complicated but I think I will get it if I keep practicing.

8) This activity is big to me, it’s a little complicated.
9) I understand this activity a little bit.
10) It’s hard and easy at the same time.

I liked the whole entire activity because it showed if I was right or wrong & I could go back & check the verb2verb webiste.

Activity 1
J’all ais

Tu all ais

Il all ait This activity was somewhat helpful, I understand the endings of the verbs. 5
Nous all ions

Vous all iez

Ils all aient

Activity 2

Tu regardais
Il regardait
Nous regardions
Vous regardiez
Ils regardaient
This activity has helped me conjugate the verb regarde. 8

Activity 3
Nous habitions
J’habitais
Elles habitaient
Vous habitiez
Tu habitais
Elle habitait
This activity has helped me conjugate the verb habite. 8

Activity 4
Mon frère mangeait
Vous mangiez
Les chats mangeaient
Je mangeais
Nous mangions
Tu mangeais
This activity has helped me conjugate the verb manger. 8

Activity 5
This exercise helps you conjugate different verbs. 9 it is difficult but it teaches you certain verbs and how to conjugate them.

Activity 6
10 the activity is pretty dificult, therefore ; it helps you understand to conjugate verbs.

Today we did games on the online language thing, and although it was helpful, it became frustrating because once we found out we were wrong we couldn't really figure out what we did wrong. The quia games on the otherhand are shorter and hold our attention span and are not as involved practice. They also give us help by allowing us to choose our problem areas and focous on them and get the right answer.

The activities that involved match and fill in the blank were very helpful for learning how to conjugate in the imperfect tense. The one that was least helpful was the activity with the scroll down box.

1. Imperfect Tense Grammar Explanation = 10
2. L'Imparfait (endings)=2
3. L'Imparfait (2) =1
4. L'imparfait (3) =10
5. Imperfect Endings (4) =2
6. Quand j'étais petit ... =3
7. A l'école primaire =4
8. Quand j'habitais à Londres ... = 9
9. Quand mes grands-parents étaient petits ...= 8
10. Souvenirs d'Enfance = 7
11. Quand mes parents sortaient ensemble ... =7
12. Descriptions au Passé: Un Après-midi au parc =9

The first activity was very helpful. And the word search was very fun.All the other ones were very good as well and helped alot.

The languages online was very helpful. Reading the explanation before starting the exercises helped to refresh my memory. I’m still kind of confused on the endings and knowing whether to use nous or ils or something else. The excersizes were very similar so if you didnt understand one it was difficult to finish any of them.
I didn’t find Quia very helpful.

The first activity on http://www.languagesonline.org.uk/ was very helpful it helped me practice all aspects of the final exam, writing and multiple choice. The word search wasn’t much help but it was fun! :)

1. Imperfect Tense Grammar Explanation =10
2. L'Imparfait (endings)=10
3. L'Imparfait (2)=8
4. L'imparfait (3)=8
5. Imperfect Endings (4)=7
6. Quand j'étais petit ...=6
7. A l'école primaire=3
8. Quand j'habitais à Londres ...=3
9. Quand mes grands-parents étaient petits ...=4
10. Souvenirs d'Enfance=5
11. Quand mes parents sortaient ensemble ...=4
12. Descriptions au Passé: Un Après-midi au parc=4
The most helpful were number 1.

I don think that the language online was very helpful because right after i would put my answers in they wouldnt tell me which ones i got wrong. I got confused and didnt understand...
Even though it said information at the beginning it didnt make sense when it came down to taking all of the quizes..

None of them really helped me...

The Imperfect Tense Explanation: I would give it a 10 because it is helpful and has descriptive examples.

L’ Imparfait (endings):I give this lesson a 7. it really helps for completing verbs.

L’ Imparfait (2): I give it a 10 I really liked this one because it helps me complete the verbs better by mattching the endings with each verb.

Imperfect Endings (4): I give this lesson a 8 is really good with completing verbs.

Quand j'étais petit...:I give this lesson a 4 because it gets somewhat harder with changing the imperfect tense.

A l'école primaire…: I give this lesson a 8 because it was helpful.

I did not like the language online activities. They were confusing unlike the games on the other websites which helped and were fun as well.

Languages Online: this activity was fun, because of the matching part and the rest was good with helping to put sentences together.

The language online help because it allowed me to practice my spelling and memorization of French. We really need to the matching again. The activities where we had to type the words were really helpful to. It really help me remember what I learned and confirmed it.
